Earn your Criminal Justice Degree from Westwood College

Criminal Justice (Associate)
If you have a passion for justice, you should explore earning a criminal justice degree at Westwood College. You’ll be taught skills and techniques that are needed to succeed in today’s criminal justice system includes topics such as crisis intervention, crime scene investigation, victimology, domestic violence and computer crime. You will also gain real-world experience through an internship program that will be valuable to your success as well as potential employers. Upon graduation you’ll be prepared to begin a career as a corrections officer*, youth care counselor or children’s advocate.

Criminal Justice: Major in Administration (Bachelor’s)

Criminal Justice: Major in Corrections (Bachelor’s)
The bachelor’s program Criminal Justice: Major in Corrections equips students academically and professionally by developing a knowledge base, social awareness and technological skills for position in today’s criminal justice environment. This program covers topics such as: criminology, ethics, constitutional law, correctional administration, correctional environments, and correctional law. The curriculum provides an understanding of organizational and administration issues within correctional environments.

Criminal Justice: Major in Investigations (Bachelor’s)
The bachelor’s program Criminal Justice: Major in Investigation equips students academically and professionally by developing a knowledge base, social awareness and technological skills for position in today’s criminal justice environment. This program covers topics such as: criminology, ethics, constitutional law, private investigations, crime scene investigations, and digital and white collar crime. The curriculum provides an understanding of the nature of crime and investigations.

Paralegal (Associate)
The Paralegal associate degree program allows you to enter the field of law without making a commitment to law school. You’ll gain fundamental knowledge in legal writing and legal research. Classes in family law, immigration law, business law and real estate law are also taught along with interviewing and investigation. Graduates are prepared to perform important legal work, such as drafting and preparing written documents and conducting research in law offices, government agencies and corporations.
